    Krystal Clark has served 13 of a 17 year minimum sentence in the Michigan Department of Corrections. She is housed in the Women's Huron Valley prison - the only women's prison in the state, which is infested with mold.  Krystal is part of of a class-action lawsuit against the MDOC.  Click Play >

    Krystal Clark speaks about the  mold infested prison and how it is impacting her health.  After 3+ years of oral antibiotics that provided NO relief,  she is starting DAILY IV antibiotic treatment (in Feb 2023). Her social worker commented on Krystal's condition in shock of what she observed.

    If you live in Michigan, please write to your senator or representative and ask them to petition Governor Whitmer on your behalf and urge an emergency accommodation to transfer Krystal to  a non-mold infested facility or to release her from prison (parole or medical commutation).  Krystal's inmate number is 435064 and she is at the WHV prison.

The policy states she can obtain outside care if she pays the officer(s) wages as well as for transportation and their meals.  These trips usually run approx. $800-1200 depending on how long an
