In November 1986, college student Scott Macklem of Croswell, Michigan was shot and killed in a college parking lot. Fingers quickly pointed to Scott's fiance's ex-boyfriend, Fredrick Freeman (who now goes by Temujin Kensu). The problem is that Kensu moved to Michigan's upper peninsula over 400 miles away months before the murder and has as many as ten eyewitnesses that place him in Rock, Michigan or Escanaba, Michigan mere hours before AND after the murder.
There are many things wrong with this case to include prosecutor misconduct (See Hood Decision in Document Library below), Brady violations, a hypnotized witness, a jailhouse snitch who later recanted on video (see Justice Incarcerated video) and ineffective trial counsel (David Dean was Temujin's court-appointed attorney who was later disbarred for cocaine use!)
